As Galaxy AI continues to expand and become more embedded into everyday life, Samsung keeps one key driving force at the center of innovation: AI’s impact on people.
Samsung Galaxy today released its Mobile AI Report: AI’s potential as a gateway to better living, the first academic-level research on this topic, commissioned by Samsung and conducted by Symmetry, a UK-based global AI advisory, solutions and research firm exploring the intersections of artificial intelligence, emerging technology and socioeconomic impact.
The report explores the potential links between mobile AI use and quality of life, offering insight into where Samsung and industry collaborators can help ensure that AI’s positive impact in the short- and long-term aligns with how people say they most want to use the technology.
The report includes responses from 1,000 respondents in each of five markets surveyed – France, Germany, Korea, the US, and the UK – examining quality of life across four key indicators: creativity, productivity, social relationships and physical health.
The findings offer a clear indication of the immense potential that lies ahead for AI, showing that people who frequently use mobile AI also report a higher quality of life than those who rarely use mobile AI. In fact, frequent users are about 1.4 times more likely to report good or very good quality of life compared to rare users. Considerable excitement around mobile AI’s potential is also evident, with more than half (52%) of respondents planning to embrace it even more in the future as AI technology advances.
